The mod is set in southern USA and features various factions, these factions goals range from merely survivingвЂ¦ to setting up an entirely new United States. Surviving in this world is tough, packs of the undead roam the streets and gangs rob and murder the weak. It is set in a post apocalyptic world where a strain of virus has wiped out most of civilisation. OBN4Sv-8XjQThe reckoning is a single player mod for mount and blade warband. So hopefully this gets others to play the mods, and find they enjoy the game also. So I thought what the hell why not make a mod list. I'd have recommended the 1775 (?) mod by Gabilduro but it's super buggy and not likely to be fixed.It's no secret that I love playing Mount & Blade Warband, and the paid expansions that were released on Steam. Nothing like losing a volley on some enemy combatants and watching them careen across a field!ДЎ860s Old West - I think it's pretty much the only Western mod on Warband which is a shame because the original 1866 mod was brilliant and had a huge number of great ideas in it, and also the mod creator didn't beg for 10/10 reviews on the page.It's, well, fine: if you want to simulate the American Civil War, or the Mexican War of Independence against Maximilian, or war between native Americans and settlers, you can do it here? But alliances are not set in any meaningful way, units are a bit samey, damage mechanics are still pretty absurd (beyond a certain distance you might as well be throwing raisins at enemies), siege spawns can get you wrecked, and my biggest issue, the crouching animation makes you cheer automatically so you can't fire properly. (WFAS) English Civil War - Another really good accurate historical mod with lots of details, a functional map of the UK, and the great ragdoll physics from WFAS.

Also cannons and uniforms, but also very unfinished sadly. Lots of fun mechanics for hiring (like officers to speak to in order to quickly build up armies, like the old 1802 mod) as well as the 'body sliding' thing where if you get knocked out you become one of your units. Twilight of the Sun King (unfinished) - Great historical mod set around the time of the Spanish succession I think.

I'd recommend getting the English submod on Moddb because the translations from Chinese are a bit wonky in places, but it's a style thing rather than a major problem. Pretty slow because of its size but it's still great fun building up your empire of musketeers and pikemen. Swadia is the HRE the Vaegirs are Tsarist Russia, and new factions have popped up).ДЎ6th Century - Massive mod spanning from North America to Japan basically, with tonnes of factions. It's not gunpowder only, but all factions have at least some troops armed with early firearms, all set in an updated Calradia (e.g. The Eagle and the Radiant Cross - Personal favourite mod of all time, if a bit buggy (sending off companions leads to them either disappearing or being unable to rejoin your company, and if you defeat a faction you have to shoulder the costs of upkeep for all their special units), but D'Sparil's vision is still amazing.

L'Aigle - I played this mod for about 5 minutes when I first got a PC but wasn't thrilled with the map being a recreation of Europe. I'm honestly not a fan of the 1500s India setting, but the mod is solid enough that it's probably what I'll keep playing if I can't find anything I like more. Its only issue, if I can even call it that, is the setting. Suvarnabhumi Mahayuth - This is the most stable of the bunch I've played. Sayazn - Great mod Literally the best-designed mod I've played but I can't continue with it because of its multiple bugs including one that puts an unskippable event screen in my face with no way to dismiss it.Д¬alradia Imperial Age - This one is okay and enjoyable enough except for two things: The constant spam of kingdom relation pop up notifications and seemingly OP firebombs. I've played a couple of gunpowder mods for Warband, but for different reasons, every one of them turns me away from a serious playthrough.
